At CakeByDesign we LOVE weddings. We loved ours, we’ve loved our friends’, and we want to love yours.

Other than the magical kiss, our favorite part of the wedding is the cake. We have been known to eat less at the dinner so that we could eat MORE at the dessert table!

Wedding cakes are steeped in tradition, dating back to the Roman Empire. We would like to be a part of YOUR tradition.

Wedding cakes are typically white tiered affairs, with typical flowers and accent colors. At CakeByDesign we want to break through the BLAH and help you create a delightful centerpiece to your celebration.  We can even create a unique cake with you and your GTB doing something that you love to do most.

At CakeByDesign we will ensure that whatever you choose to serve your guests is beautifully presented, and helps to complete your very special day.

Please call us to book a tasting, as all appointments are catered to your individual needs and desires.  Please be prepared to bring a swatch of your color(s), a ball-park number of guests, and either your groom-to-be or another significant person.

Cake Toppers

Wedding Cake Toppers are definitely a matter of “eye of the beholder”. Some Brides prefer a standard topper “couple”, while some opt for flowers, a bow, or other decoration. If you are looking for something more personalized, speak to us and we can make your topper.

As a note to the Bride-To-Be, many reception venues are now charging a “cutting fee” for the wedding cake.  This being the case, many brides are now serving individual cupcakes to their guests, while sharing a small “cutting cake” with their groom. Another option for many brides are “centerpiece” cakes. Each table has a small cake for a centerpiece, rather than costly flowers. You were going to serve cake anyway...

Wedding Favors

How many weddings have you been to where you were sent home with a candle you’ve never used, or a piece of cake you’ve thrown out?  Far too many for us to stomach!  And speaking of stomach, have we got something for you! A very tasty sugar cookie, decorated in chocolate, in it’s own little bag, with a topper commemorating your special day.
